Translating procedures is more than replacing words. A misunderstood component name, measurement unit or warning can change how the person performing the work understands the instruction.
The design to commission
Start with the company's approved glossary and identify the original revision. The workflow should keep numbers, units, component codes and figure references traceable to source text. Do not ask the model to convert measurements or soften warnings without explicitly authorized rules. Separate preliminary translation, language review and validation by a professional familiar with the procedure. Conventional specialist translation may suffice for a few stable documents. Assisted software becomes relevant through recurring volume, revision management and terminology maintenance. Define handling for terms absent from the glossary: escalating uncertainty is better than producing confident but incorrect equivalents. AI does not replace safety validation or make translations officially certified. Also establish which translated versions remain publishable when the original changes, so users do not receive an obsolete instruction simply because its language version looks complete.

Acceptance with an exception
